Cooke mini rugby is the best!!!

Rocketing back into action after the Easter break, this week’s update is a bit of a mixed bag as P6 teams are headed down south to Seapoint for a festival and our P7 had a joint fixture at home on Sunday hosting a touring Scottish side.
 
Our fearless convenor managed to arrange a previously unscheduled away fixture for the P1/2/3, P4 and P5 teams away to Ophir RFC for Saturday morning, so off we trooped to Jordanstown in the mizzle to enjoy their hospitality (which included space raiders!) and excellent sportsmanship.

P5 Team Mate of the Week was Joshua! 

What a day for this young fella at Seapoint! 

Saving his best performance til last and putting all the hours of training and matches to good use today. He grabbed himself a hat-trick of tries to top it all off!

We had an amalgam of P1 playing games and a combined P2/3 this week, all mixed in with Ophir’s players. Great fun games from their coaching staff and some quality matches that followed. 

One player stood out to win our P1/2 Teammate of the week… Tommy!

Always a great teammate, Tommy runs so well with the ball in hand, and most importantly forward! Some quick tackling and passing too.

Well done Tommy, keep it up!
