Cooke Mini Rugby are the best!!!

It was Blitz week at Shaws Bridge this week with the Instonians Seahorses, Civil Service and some yummy hotdogs!
 
Thanks to our hosts and neighbours, also to Civil Service mini rugby for some great games.
 
Once again, the ultimate Teammates of the week were our Mini-Makers.  A big thank you to Andrew, Sarah, Vicky, Anne, Beverley and Monica for your help car parking, meeting and greeting and hot dog distribution.
 
The coaching team is indebted for your support – and hopefully we can recruit many more like you.  Get in touch if you are a parent who would like to volunteer to help us and also come and give us a shout if you fancy coaching too!

Our P1/2 Blitz Teammate of the Week was a younger player who asked to make the step up into playing matches on just his fourth outing with the club. 

Well done Tom, great to step up and play  so early, a great example for everyone and hope you enjoyed it.

Starting off the season where he left off with some perfect tackle technique and hard running! 
 
He has also brilliantly showed his understanding of the new rucking rules we have started to learn this season.

A Cooke Mini stalwart – Joe hit a few bumps in the road with his confidence over the past while – as such he played his last game back in Feb. 
 
Players, coaches and parents have ensured Joe has been welcomed back to the group this season – as a result he played in all 5 matches today!
