Brilliant effort from all Cooke Mini Rugby teams who made the trip to Larne this morning. Huge energy, strong tackling and plenty of smiles on show across every age group.

Thank you to Larne RFC for the warm welcome and to all our parents and coaches for the support on the sidelines.

Liam put in a majestic scrum half performance – constantly moving the ball away into space for his teammates to launch the next attack.
 
He wasn’t found wanting in defence either – landing several clinical chop tackles 🪓

P6 Team mate of the week is “El Toro Loco” Lucas! 

Gave maximum effort every minute and at times it was like there was 3 of him on the pitch! 

A dominant but unselfish performance all round and definitely and he showed how much he has developed as a player this season. Very well done!

P3 TMOTW is Arthur Ball. Magic on his feet with ball in hand and finding space.

Quality skills with the passing. Kept the defensive line organised. Brilliant!! Good skills!!

P1/2 Team Mate of the Week was Stevie.

Stevie worked so hard on new skills and played super well with the other team.

He even championed over his fear and powered through when there was a dog getting a little rowdy. 💪🏼
