Cooke Mini Rugby is the best!!!
The morning of ‘Le Crunch’ in the 6N (allez les bleus!) saw a similarly competitive Blitz turnout at Shaws Bridge. Not only did we have Dromore join us for games across the ages, but our ground-mates Instonians got stuck in as well.
BIG thanks for the efforts of Chris Scott (Cooke) on the day, plus Norman McKenzie (Cooke) and Ciara Maitland (Instonians) who put in a big organisational effort during the week.
All the parking volunteers
A huge team effort this morning. An elite group of 3 Mini-Makers served over 250 hotdogs and car parking marshals ensured smooth parking. Glad to hear everyone was Smart Like Bob.
P1/2 had a great time this morning, multiple team splits and mixed groups made it impossible to pick a single teammate of the week, but with great effort and fun games: in many ways mini rugby was the winner! It all finished with a wonderful extra-large game of bulldogs. Thanks to Dromore and Instonians!

Two teammates of the week for P7. Alexander and James.
Both tackled their hearts out all day putting their bodies on the line for the team. A special mention has to go to Charlie as well who never backed down from boys twice his size ![]()
