Cooke Mini Rugby is the best!!!

A huge range of fun this week: we had Scottish visitors for P7, Ulster festival for P5 and then training at Shaws Bridge for the rest, phew!

Your Coach correspondent was away for the weekend, so missed the whole thing (hence the delayed posting…apologies!).

See below for details and photos.

P7 had visitors from Scotland. East Kilbride came to Belfast to play a mini Blitz with Cooke and Seahorses. Three well fought games with Alexander and Loughlan winning joint players of the tournament.

Today the Cooke P5s had an excellent day at the Ulster Rugby Festival hosted by Ards RFC.
Battling it out in the sunshine against strong opposition from Bangor, Banbridge, Ards, Armagh and Portadown.

A performance from the team that made coaches and parents proud! They have definitely earned themselves their Sunday dinner!

P5 TMoTW at the Ulster Festival today was Annabelle!

Bursting out of the blocks today with some great press defence and some strong jackals!
Between games she was keeping spirits and energy levels high dishing out sweeties to her teammates!

Nabbing 2 tries was the cherry on the cake!
Love to see it!

P3 welcomed two new players today, Tadgh and Gerard.

All the players put in a fantastic effort across the training session which finished with a very close match.

P3 are pictured celebrating this week’s *Team Mate of the Week Tadgh* who received the trophy for his fantastic effort and enthusiasm on his first week out.

No trophy to hand out this week for P1/2, again sorry, but our Team mate of the week was Arthur Beattie. For his amazing teamwork, great listening, and he worked his socks off today. Those little legs defo got a run out today.

Well done!!!
